1 - Perfect English Grammar: The Indispensable Guide to Excellent Writing and Speaking by Grant Barrett

I think this is the best book on this list. Barrett’s writing is clear and to the point. And goes into great detail about how the English language functions in an accessible way. The design and font used for the book also makes everything nice to look at. If you get any book from this list it would be this one.
